Prudence

June 12, 2009

Given some problem, perhaps represented as a dependency graph, prudence is exhibited by solution and removal of each point, such as with this stable marriage algorithm. This is in stark contrast to a political correct diminutivisation, which would have each point diluted and obfuscated. In the latter case the point is not dealt with, but becomes hidden. For example: Excellent, bloody good, quite good, not bad, okay.
